Hackers, who they actually? And why the professional hacker not only respect, but also are afraid?. The answer is simple: people are afraid of everything that cannot understand. The hacker can create "miracles" by means of the usual computer, the hacker is the person of new generation for whom there are no borders! The professional hacker can either create universal protection or immediately destroy everything that was created by years.

Yes, the things you said about hackers are right. But, in everything there's reason. For instance, how do you think viruses show up? The answer is most times simple: there should be an antivirus application which keeps them away. So, my guess is that, and I think it's not just estimation, it's real, antivirus companies hires hackers for creating applications that use deficits of operating systems, programs etc. Also, hackers are used in some good ways. I heard that Microsoft hires hackers for finding deficits of their products so that they can patch these deficits...
